Head of Sales
EVONA is a rapidly scaling commercial space technology company seeking a Head of Government Sales to lead its US federal growth strategy. This high-impact leadership role involves shaping long-term government revenue and closing complex, multi-year contracts with various agencies.
Responsibilities
Own and lead US government sales strategy across civilian, defence, and national security agencies
Build, shape, and close large, multi-year government contracts for satellite-derived data and services
Navigate the full federal procurement lifecycle, including budgeting, program advocacy, solicitation, proposal, negotiation, and award
Engage senior government stakeholders to influence long-term programs and funding priorities
Partner closely with executive leadership and technical teams to align roadmap and go-to-market strategy
Qualification
Required
Proven track record of winning and scaling US government contracts, ideally $10M+ in value
Experience selling commercial satellite data, geospatial intelligence, remote sensing, or related technologies into federal agencies
Strong understanding of US federal procurement, acquisition pathways, and budget cycles
Comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor with full commercial ownership
Existing government relationships and credibility at senior levels
