The consultant will partner with business stakeholders and IT teams to design, configure, and support SAP MDG solutions that ensure data quality, compliance, and effective governance across core master data domains.

Responsibilities
Lead business requirement gathering sessions and workshops with data owners and functional teams
Configure and support SAP MDG for Customer, Vendor, and Material master data
Design and maintain MDG Data Models, UI Models, and Governance Workflows
Configure BRF+ rules, validations, and derivations to enforce data quality and governance standards
Support Customer–Vendor Integration (CVI) and master data harmonization
Define and support replication frameworks to ECC/S/4HANA and downstream systems
Ensure solutions comply with enterprise governance, audit, and change control standards
Qualification
Required
8+ years of SAP experience with strong focus on SAP MDG – Functional
Hands-on experience with MDG Customer, Vendor, and Material domains
Strong expertise in MDG Data Modeling, UI Modeling, Workflow configuration, and BRF+
Experience with validations, derivations, and governance rule configuration
Solid understanding of CVI and MDG integration with ECC/S/4HANA
Experience working in large, regulated, or compliance-driven environments
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration or upgrade projects
Exposure to enterprise data governance frameworks or tools
Prior experience supporting audit- or compliance-focused programs
