Responsibilities
Assist with preparing bid invitations and soliciting subcontractor bids
Help to perform detailed quantity takeoffs using On-Screen Takeoff
Attend pre-bid meetings with Estimators and assist with meeting minutes
Communicate with subcontractors to ensure proper coverage
Review subcontractor proposals to assist in the selection of the lowest qualified bid
Assist in bid submissions and proposal presentations
Participates in value engineering process
Update and maintain historic cost database & subcontractor database
Qualification
Required
At least a sophomore in college working towards a degree in Construction Management or Engineering
Construction document-literate
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Solid understanding of phases of construction
