Responsibilities

Author, review, and maintain Human Factors documentation including usability plans, protocols, reports, and risk analyses
Plan, conduct, and report on formative and validation usability studies
Analyze qualitative usability data and provide actionable design recommendations
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, and clinical teams
Ensure compliance with FDA Human Factors guidance and relevant standards
Support continuous improvement of Human Factors processes and documentation

Required

Bachelor's degree in human Factors, HCI, Cognitive Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
1–3 years of Human Factors experience (medical device experience preferred)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

Preferred

Master's degree in a related field
Experience with IEC 62366, HE75, and FDA Human Factors guidance
Hands-on experience conducting usability studies
Knowledge of user-centered design methods
Understanding of human performance capabilities and limitations
