Responsibilities
Interact with business leaders to understand business requirements and be able to frame problems
Create functional and technical requirements and design the most appropriate application solution
Create report/dashboard prototypes to obtain business feedback
Deliver high-quality and best-performing BI solutions
Experience applying SDLC best practices with demonstrated ability to quickly decipher, analyze, translate, and prototype in Agile development sprints
Participate in production releases as required
Collaborate with the team to design new features and functionality for existing applications and dashboards
Qualification
Required
5-7 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing BI solutions (MicroStrategy is a strong plus)
Ability to design, develop, and maintain cloud-based BI systems
Strong understanding of BI concepts and tools, including data warehousing, ETL processes, data visualization, and analytics
Familiarity with data modeling techniques and database systems
Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for deploying BI solutions
Demonstrated experience in modeling metadata, creating complex schema objects, and developing integrated data sets and cubes from multiple data sources
Experience with interactive/dynamic report and dashboard development and leveraging all visualization and functionality options available
Knowledge of BI mobile application development
Advanced SQL understanding, with 3-5 years of working experience
Excellent knowledge of RDBMS, cloud, columnar, noSQL databases, and data warehousing concepts
Preferred
Working knowledge of cloud-based BI/AI/ML data systems
Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex information to audiences with varying technical and system backgrounds
Ability to demonstrate excellent problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills
Ability to be a self-starter and multi-task across fast-paced IT and business environments
Ability to learn new technologies quickly
