Senior Sharepoint Developer
Areeva Solutions is seeking a hands-on Senior SharePoint Developer to own, maintain, and evolve a complex Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online ecosystem. The role focuses primarily on SharePoint and requires strong scripting and automation skills, with responsibilities including governance, security, and performance tuning of SharePoint environments.

Responsibilities
Own the lifecycle, architecture, and governance of 150+ SharePoint Online site collections, including hub architecture, document libraries, and permissions across multiple tenants
Implement and maintain governance, security, and information architecture standards for SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365
Design, build, and optimize enterprise workflows using Power Automate (and related tools) to support multi-site and cross-team processes
Develop and maintain automation for provisioning, bulk operations, and routine maintenance using advanced PowerShell and other backend scripting
Act as the SharePoint/M365 Subject Matter Expert, advising stakeholders on best practices and collaborating on solution design
Own production SharePoint environments, including monitoring, incident resolution, performance tuning, and continuous improvement
Collaborate on adjacent initiatives in Azure, data, and integration spaces as business needs evolve, taking on new responsibilities gradually based on skill and interest
Support development and maintenance of integrations between SharePoint and other systems or services, leveraging your coding background (e.g., PowerShell, Python, or similar)
Contribute to solution design across multiple domains, working closely with technical leads to address changing and dynamic requirements
Managing Azure Resource Groups and core services (e.g., App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL) across environments
Working with Azure Entra ID (Azure AD) App Registrations, API permissions, and secure service-to-service connectivity
Contributing to AI-driven solutions such as Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, or intelligent search/chatbot capabilities integrated with SharePoint content
Qualification
Required
Deep expertise with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 administration, including large-scale site collection and hub site architecture
Strong hands-on scripting and automation skills in PowerShell for SharePoint, including provisioning, bulk operations, and maintenance
Experience with Power Automate and/or related workflow tools for building and maintaining business processes
Solid programming background (e.g., PowerShell, Python, C#, or similar), with the ability to learn new tools and frameworks as needed
Proven ability to manage production systems, handle incidents, and take ownership of end-to-end solutions
Demonstrated adaptability and comfort working across dynamic, frequently changing requirements rather than within a narrowly defined task list
Minimum of 8 years of relevant, demonstrable experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
Preferred
