Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth financial and technical evaluations of upstream energy assets, including analysis of production forecasts and operating expenses
Develop, maintain, and own complex financial models, incorporating innovative debt/equity structures to drive investment decisions
Lead the financial analysis, modeling, and valuation of potential acquisitions and business development projects, utilizing various methodologies such as discounted cash flow analysis and net asset valuation
Coordinate and execute complex, time-sensitive processes to facilitate successful transaction execution
Qualification
Required
2+ years of professional experience in the upstream oil & gas industry in a financial capacity
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Experience from an energy investment bank, upstream operator, or private equity shop
Proven ability to manage large amounts of complex data, with meticulous attention to detail and a track record of producing error-free documents
Proven upstream A&D and corporate M&A experience
