This role involves analyzing inventory transactions, preparing account reconciliations, and supporting month-end close processes while working cross-functionally across multiple systems.

Responsibilities
Track, analyze and monitor inventory activity, transactions and adjustments
Identify unusual adjustments, escalate and pursue resolution, working with different departments and functions
Take the initiative to propose corrections, track and document all issues, and play a key role in driving root cause analysis and ultimate resolution
Month-end close responsibilities, including pre- and post-close tasks: journal entry preparation, report generation, and other duties as assigned
Preparation of account reconciliations according to company and departmental policy
Provide information to internal and external auditors
Provide assistance in special projects and management requests as needed
Qualification
Required
Accounting experience resulting in the ability to understand inventory process flows and impact on the general ledger
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Previous experience in month-end close processes
Some travel may be required, up to 5%
Detail oriented, self-starter, customer focused
Demonstrates logical analysis, issue identification and problem-solving skills
Ability to multi-task and remain organized, and to work independently
Intellectually curious and seeks to always understand 'why'
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to interact effectively and drive results when working with cross-functional groups
Preferred
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Accounting or related field
Experience within a Sarbanes-Oxley environment
Working knowledge of and experience with SQL
