Responsibilities
Design end-to-end solutions across frontend, backend, APIs, data, and infrastructure
Define and evolve platform architecture standards and best practices
Lead architectural reviews and provide technical direction across teams
Ensure systems are scalable, secure, reliable, and cost-efficient
Build and maintain production code using:
Backend: PHP (Laravel), Node.js
Frontend: Angular
Database: MySQL
Design and evolve RESTful and event-driven APIs
Contribute to complex features and critical initiatives
Perform code reviews focused on quality, security, and performance
Architect and support applications in AWS
Collaborate on Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
Design and operate containerized workloads with Kubernetes
Partner with DevOps to continuously improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies
Support production readiness, monitoring, and operational excellence
Advocate for test automation and modern QA practices (unit, integration, E2E)
Improve development velocity without sacrificing reliability
Mentor senior and mid-level engineers on architecture and design patterns
Collaborate with Product to translate business needs into technical solutions
Support Agile delivery using Jira and Git-based workflows
Qualification
Required
8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including architectural responsibility
Strong hands-on experience with PHP/Laravel, Angular, Node.js, and MySQL
Proven experience building and operating systems in AWS
Solid understanding of Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps practices
Experience with automated testing strategies and quality engineering
Comfortable balancing strategic architecture with hands-on implementation
Preferred
Experience scaling or modernizing SaaS platforms
Background in high-availability or regulated environments
Experience designing multi-service or microservices architectures
Familiarity with AWS performance tuning, observability, and cost optimization
