Responsibilities
Prepare and manage project-based invoices across multiple customers and jobs
Execute progress billing, milestone billing, AIA billing, and change orders
Ensure billing accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contract terms
Maintain and update billing data within the company’s ERP system
Partner with Project Managers and internal stakeholders to ensure billing aligns with job progress
Support AR functions as needed to maintain accurate accounts and efficient cash flow
Assist with certified payroll and prevailing wage documentation, when required
Contribute to month-end close activities and help prepare audit-ready documentation
Maintain detailed billing records and support process improvements within the team
Qualification
Required
2+ years of billing experience within the construction, general contracting, or skilled trades industry
Strong experience with project-based billing, including AIA, milestone, and contract billing formats
Proficiency with Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Index Match, etc.)
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and experience working cross-functionally
Preferred
Experience with Sage ERP; familiarity with ConnectWise is a plus
Certified payroll or prevailing wage reporting experience
Experience supporting month-end close or accounting workflows
