Responsibilities

Execute the end-to-end histology pipeline from tissue receipt to slide preparation

Manage and track histology samples across mouse, rat, and NHP studies

Maintain rigorous SOP documentation and electronic laboratory notebooks

Collaborate with the Gene Therapy team to advance drug development milestones

Qualification

Required

Completed Bachelor's Degree in a relevant scientific field

1–2 years of direct histology experience within a pharmaceutical or biotech industry setting

Proficiency in FFPE and OCT sample processing, embedding, and sectioning across various tissues and species

Hands-on experience performing special stains (H&E, PAS, Trichrome, etc.)

Operations: Proven track record in sample management workflows and meticulous record-keeping using Benchling or similar ELN platforms

Soft Skills: Strong critical thinking, organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams

Preferred

Experience preparing slides for DNA/RNA analysis (e.g., RNAscope, Visium)
