Responsibilities
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
Perform bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial records and resolve discrepancies
Prepare and review account reconciliations to maintain accurate general ledger balances
Record accounting entries and assist with journal entries to support daily financial operations
Manage billing processes, including invoice generation and payment tracking
Support the month-end close process by preparing necessary documentation and reports
Utilize Microsoft Excel to create, analyze, and maintain financial spreadsheets
Collaborate with team members to address financial discrepancies and improve processes
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and organizational procedures
Assist in financial reporting to provide insights into the organization's performance
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field
Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Expertise in performing bank and account reconciliations
Familiarity with journal entries and general ledger management
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis
Knowledge of billing processes and month-end close procedures
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred
Experience in the retail industry is a plus
