Information Technology System Administrator
EVONA is a fast-growing technology company seeking a hands-on IT Systems Administrator to help run and scale a modern corporate IT environment. The role focuses on MacOS administration, endpoint management, and end-user support, ensuring teams have secure and reliable access to necessary tools.
Responsibilities
Administer and support a MacOS-first environment
Own and manage MDM tooling such as Jamf, Kandji, Intune, Mosyle, or similar
Manage the full device lifecycle, including provisioning, configuration, patching, OS updates, hardware refreshes, and decommissioning
Enforce security baselines and endpoint compliance
Provide hands-on support for laptops, peripherals, and day-to-day IT issues
Support onboarding and offboarding workflows
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and access-related issues
Act as a trusted IT partner to employees across the business
Administer Microsoft 365, including user provisioning, email and collaboration tools, licensing, and troubleshooting
Support identity and access tools such as SSO, Okta, and Azure AD or Entra
Manage access to core SaaS applications
Support VPN and modern secure access tools, such as Tailscale or similar
Ensure secure remote access for distributed teams
Partner with security stakeholders on endpoint and access best practices
Improve IT workflows through automation and better tooling
Create and maintain clear IT documentation and runbooks
Identify opportunities to scale IT systems as the company grows
Qualification
Required
4+ years of experience in corporate IT, systems administration, or endpoint management
Strong hands-on experience with MacOS administration
Experience managing devices using an MDM platform
Solid experience administering and supporting Microsoft 365
Experience supporting VPN or secure access tools
Comfortable working directly with end users in a fast-moving environment
Preferred
Experience in Mac-first or startup environments
Familiarity with identity platforms such as Okta or Azure AD
Light scripting or automation experience using Bash, PowerShell, or Python
Experience scaling IT systems in a growing organisation
Exposure to endpoint security best practices
