Senior Business Analyst
Alpha FMC is seeking a Business Analyst for their Insurance Tech Services Division. In this role, you will bridge the gap between clients and technical teams to deliver custom software solutions by gathering requirements, developing process flows, and ensuring client needs are met.

Responsibilities
Act as the primary liaison between clients and the internal technical teams, gathering and documenting detailed business requirements for custom software solutions
Conduct business process analysis and develop clear, concise documentation including workflows, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Collaborate with Technical Project Manager or other Team Lead to prioritize requirements and align project scope with client objectives
Support the development team throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that the delivered solution meets business and technical requirements
Facilitate communication and problem-solving between clients and the technical team, addressing any gaps or misunderstandings early in the process
Assist with testing and validation of software solutions, ensuring that business needs are met before deployment
Monitor project progress and adjust requirements to accommodate evolving client needs
Provide post-implementation support, gathering client feedback and identifying areas for future improvement or development
Qualification
Required
A Bachelors' degree and at least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst (post-grad); custom software development / tech services experience is preferred
Strong understanding of business process mapping, requirements gathering, and documentation best practices is essential
Must be able to read requirements and take user stories to convert them into test cases and use cases
Experience and knowledge with understanding data, metrics and presenting insights; experience using SQL is a plus
A working knowledge of APIs and Salesforce are a plus
Experience working in Agile environments and proficiency with tools like JIRA and Confluence
Exceptional communication and client engagement skills, with a proven ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear, actionable plans
Ability to manage multiple projects or initiatives in parallel, ensuring successful outcomes
Preferred
custom software development / tech services experience is preferred
experience using SQL is a plus
A working knowledge of APIs and Salesforce are a plus
