Responsibilities

Supervise and manage the daily functions of the accounting department, ensuring smooth operations
Oversee the monthly financial closing process, including reviewing departmental expenses and preparing accurate workpapers for reporting
Lead, train, and inspire a team of accounting professionals to foster growth and development
Coordinate and manage the annual financial statement audit process with external auditors
Develop and refine accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver financial insights that support strategic decision-making
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other applicable financial laws
Handle account reconciliations and ensure all ledger entries are accurate and up-to-date
Prepare journal entries and maintain financial records with a high degree of precision

Required

CPA is required
Proven expertise in month-end close processes and general ledger management
Extensive experience handling financial statement audits

Ability to develop and implement effective accounting procedures
Familiarity with tax compliance and financial regulations
