Vice President of Business Development

Nine Ten Capital is seeking a Vice President of Business Development who will be a core member of the management team responsible for developing and driving the company's business growth strategy. The role involves expanding revenue streams, establishing partnerships, and leading new business development initiatives.

Venture Capital and Private Equity Principals

Responsibilities

Develop and execute the company's overall business development strategy, aligned with the company's long-term goals
Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, customer segments, and business models
Establish sustainable revenue growth models and business expansion pathways
Provide business analysis and strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors
Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key clients, strategic partners, and channels
Lead negotiations for strategic partnerships, alliances, joint ventures, and channel collaborations
Evaluate and select potential partners, and drive the implementation of collaborative projects
Represent the company at industry conferences, business events, and high-level meetings
Lead the development of new business opportunities from inception to implementation, including business model design and validation
Coordinate internal resources to ensure the smooth execution of cross-functional projects
Monitor project progress, key metrics, and business outcomes
Responsible for business development-related revenue targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive lead conversion and contract signing
Analyze business data to continuously optimize expansion strategies
Build and manage the business development team, responsible for recruitment, training, and performance management
Collaborate closely with product, marketing, legal, compliance, and finance teams
Ensure all business development activities comply with company policies and compliance requirements

Required

Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field

Preferred

Experience in the financial services, fintech, blockchain, or technology industries
Experience in international markets or cross-border business development
Experience in mergers and acquisitions, investments, or strategic projects
