Responsibilities

Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities within the beverage, wine, spirits, and adjacent consumer product markets
Develop and execute account growth strategies to increase volume, margin, and long-term partnerships
Build a strong pipeline of qualified leads and manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract execution
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention
Understand customer packaging needs, timelines, and technical requirements to recommend appropriate solutions
Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure accurate quoting, production timelines, and delivery
Advise customers on glass bottle options, closures, decoration, sustainability, and packaging trends
Stay informed on beverage industry trends, packaging innovations, and competitive market dynamics
Provide guidance on cost optimization, supply chain considerations, and logistics planning
Work closely with operations, logistics, and sourcing teams to ensure smooth execution of customer orders
Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and sales reports
Provide market feedback to leadership to support strategic decision-making

Required

2 + years of experience in packaging sales, glass manufacturing, or packaging supply, preferably serving beverage companies
Proven experience selling to wine, spirits, beer, or beverage producers
Strong understanding of glass bottles, packaging materials, and supply chain/logistics considerations
Demonstrated ability to manage accounts and close complex B2B sales
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Experience as a Sales Manager
Understanding of sales performance metrics
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite

Preferred

Existing network of beverage, wine, or spirits industry contacts
Experience working with international suppliers or global logistics
Familiarity with sustainability initiatives and eco-friendly packaging solutions
CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
