Responsibilities
Conduct forensic accounting and financial statement analysis
Deconstruct ESG and sustainability claims and test them against reality
Analyze complex business models where science, engineering, and finance collide
Research environmental incidents, regulatory filings, supply chains, and technical disclosures
Help develop short theses that expose greenwashing, environmental fraud, or systemic risk
Work closely with the investment team on idea generation, diligence, and activism
Qualification
Required
3+ years' experience in financial analysis or research
Comfortable questioning consensus, interrogating assumptions, and following evidence wherever it leads
Curiosity, independence, and a healthy scepticism towards hype cycles
Clear written communication—especially when explaining complex issues simply
A mission‑driven desire to contribute to the climate transition
Preferred
Environmental, chemical, process, or industrial engineering
Experience in energy, resources, chemicals, manufacturing, or infrastructure
Exposure to environmental regulation, permitting, or compliance
Scientific literacy that helps decode technical disclosures and environmental claims
