Responsibilities

Execute advanced molecular biology and high-content screening experiments in functional genomics
Support massively parallel reporter assay (MPRA) screens in a variety of cell types to facilitate building datasets for machine learning models
Communicate results and iterate on experimental design

Required

Have a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Biology, Genetics, biomedical engineering, or related field with 2-5 years of experience
Be well-versed in designing and executing cell and molecular biology experiments and interpreting data
Perform complex genomics protocols, including custom DNA/RNA amplicon preparation/sequencing, massively parallel reporter assay (MPRA) experience preferred
Must have primary cell culture experience
Execute molecular biology protocols, including molecular cloning, flow cytometry, and quantitative PCR
Particular experience in one or more of viral vector technology (lentivirus), NGS library design/generation, and scRNA-seq/scMPRA
Be self-motivated, analytical, highly organized, and have great communication and interpersonal skills
Contribute to team-based science and technology development
Demonstrate a passion for science and eagerness to learn
Primary cell culture experience required
Molecular biology experience required

Preferred

massively parallel reporter assay (MPRA) experience preferred
iPSC and/or T cell culture preferred
Genomics experience preferred
Lentivirus, transfection experience preferred
