Vice President of Sales - Water
Skills Alliance is a recognized global technology leader focused on water sustainability and efficiency. They are seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead commercial strategy and execution across the Americas region, responsible for annual bookings and revenue performance while developing a high-performing sales organization.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual bookings, revenue, and margin targets for the Americas region
Grow both recurring consumables/aftermarket revenue and large capital systems business
Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse regional sales team; foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and customer excellence
Oversee key account management, ensuring strong relationships with strategic customers and long-term account growth
Negotiate complex commercial terms, conditions, and risk profiles to secure favorable outcomes for the company
Identify new market opportunities and recommend target sectors based on technology trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs
Collaborate with executive leadership on long-term global sales strategy for membrane and separation technologies
Stay informed on industry developments and maintain relationships with market leaders, consultants, and influencers
Represent the company at customer meetings, conferences, and industry events
Travel up to 50% throughout North and South America
Qualification
Required
10+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience (Sales Director, VP Sales, Commercial Leader, etc.)
Strong background selling technical, engineered systems —preferably separation technologies such as membranes, ion exchange, or thermal systems
Experience in one or more of the following markets: Water & wastewater, Food & beverage, Dairy, Life sciences/pharma, Industrial sectors (automotive, pulp & paper, mining, lithium, etc.)
Demonstrated success leading teams, building sales processes, and managing large enterprise accounts
Strong negotiation skills and experience closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals
Strategic thinker with the ability to align sales execution to broader business goals
Willingness to travel frequently across the region
