Mid LevelNorthwest Partners is seeking a consultant to contribute to a large-scale digital initiative for a top retailer organization. This role will focus on the end-to-end delivery of an Isolated Recovery Environment (IRE) leveraging Rubrik technology, requiring hands-on experience in architecting and deploying secure backup and recovery systems aligned with ransomware resiliency strategies.

Responsibilities
Design and deploy Rubrik-based Isolated Recovery Environments (IRE)
Architect IRE solutions based on ransomware recovery best practices, including clean room and secure enclave configurations
Configure Rubrik CDM and Rubrik Security Cloud for secure, immutable backup and recovery workflows
Implement network isolation and segmentation, including firewall policies and blast radius controls
Lead recovery testing efforts and develop recovery runbooks for validation
Integrate IRE with on-prem and/or cloud environments (e.g., VMware, Active Directory, network and storage systems)
Define and implement identity and access controls tailored to recovery operations
Create technical documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessions with client teams
Own the technical implementation, including deployment, issue resolution, and initial recovery execution
Qualification
Required
Proven, hands-on experience building and deploying Rubrik-based IRE solutions
Expertise in ransomware recovery architecture and best practices
Strong knowledge of network segmentation, security controls, and access restrictions
Proficiency configuring Rubrik CDM and Security Cloud
Experience integrating Rubrik with enterprise infrastructure including VMware, AD, networking, and storage
Ability to conduct and lead recovery validation and testing
Skilled in producing architecture documentation and operational procedures
Capability to lead troubleshooting during deployment and testing phases
