Senior Manufacturing Engineering Associate

The Senior Manufacturing Engineering Associate will support Waters LC manufacturing globally by collaborating with engineers to create and maintain essential manufacturing documentation and procedures throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Creation and maintenance of manufacturing assembly procedures and SOPs, and related engineering change requests (ECRs)
Create ECRs and documentation to release or modify tooling and other equipment design files
Create and maintain bill of materials routings, and labor standards in SAP
Participate in cross functional teams supporting continuous improvement initiatives, automation activities, new product introduction and the resolution of manufacturing issues
Maintenance of the Waters kit verify system in SAP
Manage country of origin, production version, and material master as necessary in SAP
Create and document kits in support of contract manufacturers
Determine and document appropriate packaging for kits and materials
Assist Manufacturing and test engineers as required
Other responsibilities as assigned

Required

Minimum of a high school diploma. Vocational or certificate program or relevant associate degree (Mechanical / Electrical /Process Engineering) preferred
Minimum five to eight years of related / relevant experience
Capable of understanding mechanical drawings, electrical and fluidic schematics
Experience in Windows operating system and Microsoft Office
Self-Starter with ability to manage several projects simultaneously, with limited supervision
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred

CAD experience (Solid Works / SAP Right Hemisphere)
SAP experience
Lean Six Sigma experience
Experience working in medical or regulated industries
