Call Center Representative - ON-SITE - Contract-to-Hire

The Midtown Group is a reputable staffing service provider, and they are seeking a Call Center Support Services Representative I to deliver exceptional service to their valued members. In this role, you will engage with members through various communication channels, resolve inquiries, and provide support related to loan services and credit union products.

Responsibilities

Member Engagement: Handle inbound member inquiries professionally and courteously, providing accurate information about products, services, policies, and procedures
Issue Resolution: Utilize strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment to resolve member concerns efficiently, aiming for first-contact resolution. Prioritize member privacy and follow verification protocols to ensure security
Data Management: Accurately document and update member information in systems, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. Follow up proactively to resolve discrepancies or verify details
Loan Support: Assist members with loan-related inquiries, including payment due dates, processing payments, providing payoff statements, and managing related documentation, all in compliance with applicable regulations
Product Recommendations: Assess members' needs and suggest suitable credit union products that support their financial goals, demonstrating excellent communication and consultative skills
Administrative Support: Perform additional tasks as directed by management to support the efficiency and effectiveness of the Contact Center

Required

High school diploma or GED required
Excellent verbal and written skills, active listening, and interpersonal effectiveness
Strong analytical abilities to assess member needs and resolve issues promptly
Comfortable managing multiple systems and screens simultaneously
Ability to identify member needs and recommend appropriate products
Understanding of banking operations, federal regulations, and compliance standards
Familiarity with CRM systems, Microsoft Word, and other digital tools
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and operate standard office equipment
Candidates must pass assessments, background checks, including fingerprinting, and clear credit checks

Preferred

At least one year of experience in a financial institution or contact center environment preferred
