Responsibilities
Assist external consumers with concerns and inquiries. Clearly explain credit/consumer report content, as well as Reseller and Credit Reporting Agency (CRA) requirements
Research and process consumer disputes received via phone, mail, fax, and email in accordance with FCRA guidelines
Fulfill consumer requests for file disclosures and report copies while maintaining meticulous data entry, logs, and records
Perform rigorous security authentication to safeguard and maintain confidentiality
Utilize multiple software systems simultaneously to meet individual performance metrics and department quality standards
Refer complex inquiries to senior staff or secondary sources when necessary and assist with additional departmental duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
1+ years of related professional experience with a proven track record in high-level customer service
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
Proficient in MS Office with fast and accurate typing skills
High level of critical thinking, judgment, and the ability to apply 'common sense' problem-solving in high-pressure situations
Exceptional time management and the ability to multitask in a flexible, changing environment
Preferred
Proficiency in Spanish is a significant plus
