Responsibilities
Lead complex real estate and business litigation matters from inception through resolution
Conduct sophisticated legal research and independently draft court-ready motions, trial briefs, pleadings, and memoranda
Serve as lead counsel in hearings, mediations, and arbitrations, leveraging familiarity with California and specifically San Diego courts and procedures
Act as the primary legal advisor for a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering high-level strategic counsel
Collaborate with firm leadership to refine litigation strategy and mentor junior attorneys in a virtual-first environment
Manage a heavy caseload independently using modern legal technology and tools
Qualification
Required
Active member in good standing with the State Bar of California
Minimum 5 years of civil litigation experience, with substantial focus on real estate law
Must currently reside in San Diego, CA
Extensive experience taking and defending depositions and litigating complex motions; trial experience strongly preferred
Proven ability to independently manage cases in a remote environment
