Responsibilities
Oversee daily field operations for marine and shoreline construction projects
Supervise crews performing dredging, riprap installation, precast concrete placement, and marsh creation
Manage site logistics, materials, and subcontractors
Ensure safety, quality, and environmental compliance
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to meet project goals
Travel regularly between project sites in Maryland and Virginia
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in heavy civil or marine construction
Proven leadership in field supervision and crew management
Strong understanding of marine equipment, erosion control, and environmental permitting
Ability to read and interpret civil and structural drawings
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Willingness to travel and work outdoors in varying conditions
Preferred
OSHA 30 certification preferred
