Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of the new vehicle inventory, including acquisition, preperations, pricing, merchandising, and display
Develop and implement effective sales plans and processes to drive growth, increase profitability, and meet sales goals
Lead, coach, train, and motivate, the sales team to ensure high performance and compliance with dealership policies
Ensure a positive and personalized car-buying experience for every customer. Promptly and professionally handle any customer issues or concerns
Monitor sales data, track key performance metrics, and manage the department's budget to maximize profitability
Stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and local market conditions to adjust strategies as needed
Work with the manufacturer and dealers to source and acquire the best inventory
Qualification
Required
Proven track record of success as an Automotive Sales Manager or in a similar sales management role
Minimum of three years of experience in automotive sales and acquisitions. Ford brand strongly recommended
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Expert knowledge of vehicle sales, dealership operations, and automotive financing
Strong proficiency with CRM software (e.g., VIN Solutions) and inventory management tools (e.g., VAuto, Kelly Blue Book, etc.)
Excellent negotiation and closing skills
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
