Plan and manage banquets, meetings, weddings and business events
Meet clients to confirm requirements, menus, layouts and staffing
Work closely with chefs, venues and suppliers
Prepare event sheets, floor plans, packing lists and hire orders
Supervise event & catering staff on-site
Set up service areas and oversee service standards
Maintain food hygiene and safety standards
Resolve issues quickly and professionally
Record staffing and labour details and complete post-event reviews
During the event, provides pro-active operational floor management to the service Team members
Qualification
Required
3+ years' experience as an Event & Catering Manager, Event Manager or similar
Strong organisation and time management
Confident leading teams on busy event floors
Excellent client communication skills
Knowledge of food hygiene standards
Calm, practical and reliable
Flexible with evenings, weekends and holidays
