Responsibilities
Ability to lead a collaborative urban design effort with clients, consultants, and the company’s urban design team
Use applied research methods to discover and understand the issues related to an urban design problem
Conceptualize alternative project ideas with the support of team members
Prepare and direct urban design presentations that effectively and creatively communicate urban design and planning ideas
Convey graphically and through written text the development of urban design ideas
Mentor urban design staff throughout the urban design process
Qualification
Required
Ten or more years of relevant architectural and urban design experience
Bachelor and/or master's degree in architecture and urban design
Licensed architect, preferred
Familiarity with local codes and agency approval processes in the United States
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States
Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, GIS, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office, 3D Visualization software such as Rhino, Lumion, and Twinmotion
Preferred
Licensed architect
