Responsibilities
Perform all day-to-day AP and AR processing, including weekly and ad-hoc payment runs
Set up and maintain AR billing schedules, including ad-hoc billings
Onboard new vendors and customers
Assist in month-end close activities
Respond promptly to inquiries, research, and resolve discrepancies efficiently
Prepare annual 1099s
Process expense transactions via Navan
Support the accounting group and collaborate closely with the Director of Financial Systems to implement process improvements via automation and workflows to achieve a 10-day close schedule
Qualification
Required
3+ years of progressive accounts payable experience in a fast-paced environment
Intermediate skills and knowledge of Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office applications
Experience with AP Automation software required; experience with Tipalti AP Automation software is preferred
Willingness to work cross-functionally with other teams, including Operations, Sales, and FP&A
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong problem-solving and time management skills
Ability to work 2-3 days per week from Durham, NC HQ
Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
