Administrative Assistant

Responsibilities
Ensure the high impact program continues to operate efficiently and effectively
Support the growing administrative needs of the V4V program
Oversight of benefits inventory and high-volume voucher processing
Data entry
Survey and enrollment data cleaning and preparation of invoices and disbursement requests for vendor reimbursements
Verify patient enrollment
Review information for accuracy
Track patient benefits
Follow up with insurance as necessary
Qualification
Required
High school graduation and three years of related administrative experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience; working knowledge of administrative procedures and processes including word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications
Requires verbal and written communication skills, active listening, critical thinking, multi-tasking, and time management skills
Skill in ability to use discretion and maintain all confidentiality
Demonstrates ability to use sound judgment in responding to issues and concerns
Proven attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Strong initiative and follow-through, even when required to work independently
Preferred
Working knowledge of UCSF systems, such as MyExpense and Bear Buy
