Responsibilities
Analyze sales data and competitive pricing to evaluate advertising effectiveness and inform pricing strategies for assigned business units
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Merchandising, Pricing, and Marketing to develop and execute promotional pricing strategies and events
Monitor and maintain pricing compliance with applicable laws and company policies, ensuring consistency and accuracy in advertised pricing
Utilize information systems to track performance metrics, troubleshoot system issues, and support pricing validation and item selection processes
Provide expert guidance on pricing trends, competitor strategies, and business needs to optimize retail pricing approaches
Qualification
Required
Proven expertise in pricing strategies and analytics to support competitive retail pricing and promotional initiatives
Strong ability to analyze sales data, margins, and inventory levels to evaluate pricing effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Merchandising, Pricing, and Marketing to develop and execute pricing plans
Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws related to pricing compliance and promotional activities
Proficiency in utilizing information systems such as Merchandise Value Planner and Retail Link for data analysis and reporting
Excellent communication skills to build partnerships and provide guidance on pricing strategies
Commitment to ethical standards, integrity, and continuous improvement in pricing practices
