Responsibilities
Responsible for independent and specialized work in clinical, vocational, rehabilitation, educational, and habilitation areas of the psychological services program for court committed, adjudicated delinquent youth
Evaluate the psychological strengths and weaknesses of individuals through various means, including reviewing medical and social case histories, personal interviews, and observation of their behavior and physical condition
Treatment areas include modalities, theories, confidentiality regulations, multidisciplinary, treatment planning, documentation practices, performance-based treatment, aftercare planning, substance abuse, mental health treatment, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and trauma informed care
Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating best practice guidelines and minimum standards
Lead youth treatment meetings and clinical staffing meetings with the identified multidisciplinary treatment team
Qualification
Required
This position is required to possess a valid license to practice psychology as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Psychology
You must be able to perform essential job functions
You must pass a background investigation
A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination
This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law
Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance
