Responsibilities

Assists and directs patients while retrieving, organizing and inputting digital images and/or exam information into our Electronic Medical Records System (EMS)
Is responsible for all applicable software
Interacts with many departments, office staff, physicians and patients
Requires extensive clerical, telephonic, and customer service skills

Qualification

Electronic Medical Records SystemDiagnostic Imaging experienceMedical terminologyClerical experienceCustomer service experiencePhysical anatomy knowledgeAssociate's Degree

Required

Coursework/Training and Basic medical terminology course, or completed within 6 months of hire
1 year of Clerical or Customer Service experience

Preferred

Associate's Degree In the medical field
Associate's Degree
1 year of medical and/or clerical experience
A successful completion of a Providence Internship
Coursework/Training and College courses in intermediate medical terminology and physical anatomy
Medical terminology and physical anatomy: knowledge obtained through work experience
Diagnostic Imaging experience
Electronic Medical Records System experience
