Responsibilities

Define and execute cloud architecture strategy, creating reusable patterns and “easy button” templates for adoption

Architect end-to-end solutions for complex CNE services, integrating legacy systems with cloud-native platforms

Conduct technical assessments of existing infrastructure, document dependencies, and prioritize migration paths

Partner with AWS ProServe and mission stakeholders to validate architectures and ensure compliance with security and ATO requirements

Design modernized workflows and user experiences, including unified SSO and scalable data solutions

Deliver iterative, high-impact solutions that balance long-term vision with immediate mission needs

Required

Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree)

8+ years of systems engineering experience with enterprise infrastructure modernization

Proven track record architecting and deploying production AWS/cloud solutions

Expertise in VPC design, storage tiers, compute optimization, and security controls

Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences and build consensus

Understanding of agency-specific cloud migration nuances, including ATO and WANDS environments

Preferred

Experience in CNO or similar high-side environments

Familiarity with enclave constraints and security-driven architecture decisions

Cost optimization and FinOps expertise for cloud resource management
