Unified Communications Specialist (Network Specialist 2)
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Unified Communications Specialist to join their Office of Information Technology team. The role involves providing technical and administrative support for voice infrastructure and associated technologies, ensuring effective communication solutions across various agencies.

Responsibilities
Participate in providing outstanding technical and administrative support of voice infrastructure and associated technologies
Support a wide array of technologies including A/V Conference Room Equipment, VOIP, unified communications, mobile devices, and analog lines
Independently and collaboratively install, configure, troubleshoot, and test hardware and software
Respond to, evaluate, and determine the proper course of action for agency and end user requests
Implement repair timelines, coordinate activities of multiple vendors, and follow up with users to verify functionality and ensure work has been satisfactorily completed
Qualification
Required
One year of experience as a Network Specialist 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
Four years of information technology experience that includes one year of technical experience in network operation or network maintenance; or
Two years of information technology experience that includes one year of technical experience in network operation or network maintenance, and an associate's degree in any information technology field; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of technical experience in network operation or network maintenance
You must meet the PA residency requirement
You must be able to perform essential job functions
You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements
