New Grad, Entry LevelLanceSoft, Inc. is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support molecular biology and fermentations R&D teams. The technician will be responsible for daily tasks including media preparation, lab supply management, and maintaining lab equipment, while adhering to sterile techniques and biosafety protocols.

Responsibilities
Conduct day to day tasks supporting a molecular biology and fermentations R&D teams
Keep up with daily activities which will include, along with other general support duties, media and plate preparation, restocking of lab supplies, cleaning and sterilization of glassware, collecting and autoclaving waste, and maintaining the lab support areas of the lab
Perform standard upkeep and cleaning protocols on multiple pieces of scientific equipment and become familiar with their general function
Include some rotational weekend work, typically collecting samples for other scientists
Qualification
Required
Conduct day to day tasks supporting a molecular biology and fermentations R&D teams

Have some lab experience and a good understanding of sterile techniques and excellent biosafety behaviors
Possess good basic math skills
Ability to operate day to day under minimal direct supervision
Perform standard upkeep and cleaning protocols on multiple pieces of scientific equipment and become familiar with their general function
Be available for some rotational weekend work, typically collecting samples for other scientists
