Responsibilities
Answer menu line within a timely manner and utilize excellent customer service
Assist customer with selections that are available to them based on their nutritional restrictions
Document all meals and nourishment’ served to each patient for all meals
Monitor the tray line food quality and confirm proper adherence to dietary restrictions per patient
Be responsible for accurate and timely preparation of each patient’s menus
Process Room Service customer orders including the patient and family-initiated orders following standard procedures and time frames
Qualification
Required
Basic computer and clerical knowledge
Current ServSafe Food Handler Permit, Travis County Health Department Food Handler Card or State Food Safety permit
Preferred
1 year of experience in food service in a healthcare setting
Experience with HealthTouch Room service Dining Software
