Design
Responsibilities
Contribute to residential design projects from concept through installation
Develop and execute:
Space planning and furniture layouts
Finish, material, fabric, and color palettes
Kitchen and bathroom designs, including cabinetry, fixtures, appliances, etc
Detailed drawings and elevations
3D views and visualizations to communicate design intent
Create design presentations and client-facing materials
Ensure drawings and visuals accurately reflect design intent and project constraints
Collaborate with senior designers, project managers, and drafting support to bring projects to life
Take an active role in the design development of smaller projects and spaces
Support larger, more complex projects led by senior designers
Participate in client meetings and design presentations
Contribute creative ideas and thoughtful solutions while maintaining brand and design standards
Support design appointments within the Interior Arts showroom
Use the showroom as a resource for furniture, fabric, and finish selections
Assist with showroom styling and visual presentation as needed
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience at a luxury residential interior design firm
A strong portfolio demonstrating excellent design eye and creativity, thoughtful space planning and layouts, and high-end residential work, including kitchens and bathrooms
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (or similar) and 3D software
Experience specifying trade-only vendors
Strong understanding of residential design and construction workflows
