Systems Engineer - Technology Governance

Responsibilities
Technical Portfolio Management: Evaluate commercially available technical solutions to determine their feasibility for deployment to the field, and operationalize selected solutions to meet the customer's governance and technical requirements
Governance and Deployment: Obtain operational approval through the customer's governance process, including technical boards, to deploy solutions globally, and manage a portfolio of technologies used by the customer
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with the customer's governance policies and procedures, as well as relevant industry standards and regulations, and identify potential risks and opportunities associated with new technologies
Strategic Guidance: Advise on the implementation of operational technology needs to support the customer's mission, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and provide expert technical guidance on the integration of new technologies
Technology Assessment and Planning: Research systems currently in use, identifying gaps, shortfalls, and anticipated obsolescence, and ensure coordinated decision-making and adequate resource allocation for the implementation of operational technology
Governance Support: Assist the governance process in obtaining necessary data and risk information to inform decision-making
Qualification
Required
TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required
Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD Strong technical background, with experience in managing complex technical projects and proven track record of successfully evaluating, operationalizing, and deploying technical; an additional four years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks
Experience working in a governance or compliance environment, with knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong focus on delivering results
Proactive self-starter able to support multiple efforts
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Cable writing

Prior experience in the field/overseas assignments
Prior experience supporting senior level
Prior experience working across organizational boundaries to achieve mission
