Responsibilities

Design and execute structured OSINT collection plans aligned with priority themes and investment theses
Monitor global media, government publications, corporate filings, public records, and social media to identify emerging political, regulatory, security, and macroeconomic risks
Conduct deep-dive investigations into companies, sectors, jurisdictions, and individuals using open-source tools, advanced search techniques, and corporate registries
Produce clear, concise intelligence products (risk briefs, profiles, early-warning notes, and scenario outlines) for non-technical investment and leadership audiences
Support due diligence and KYC-style reviews by mapping relationships between entities, beneficial owners, and political or regulatory exposure using open sources
Stay current with OSINT best practices, tools, and tradecraft; recommend workflow and process improvements
Collaborate with investment, risk, and strategy teams to translate findings into portfolio, country, and transaction-level insights

Required

Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Political Science, Security Studies, Economics, Area Studies, Data Science, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience
2+ years of experience in research, investigations, OSINT, due diligence, or geopolitical/security/financial intelligence (public or private sector)
Strong proficiency in open-source research methods, including search engines, social media, forums, and public databases; familiarity with OSINT tools and platforms
Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills, including source evaluation and gap analysis under time constraints
Strong written communication skills in English, with experience producing structured, evidence-based reports for decision-makers
High standards of professional ethics, discretion, and operational security

Preferred

Experience in investment, consulting, risk advisory, corporate intelligence, or security analysis environments
Familiarity with deep and dark web research and associated operational security considerations
Experience with data visualization or link-analysis tools
Additional language skills relevant to global markets (reading/research proficiency)
Relevant certifications or formal training in intelligence, OSINT, or cyber investigations
