Responsibilities
Supervise the day-to-day repairs and maintenance for meeting rooms, restaurants and public spaces
Recommend and implement procedural changes
Provide service and repairs as outlined in the Technical Skills List, depending on grade level, for electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire & safety, HVAC, refrigeration, interior, paint and decorating problems
Provide electric repair and maintenance to motors, starters, breakers and associated equipment throughout the entire building
Install electrical wiring for renovations, electrical outlet additions, motors and associated equipment
Provide electrical set-ups for exhibits and conventions including maintaining electrical equipment for exhibits
Provide preventative maintenance of all electrical equipment and updating of appropriate logs
Qualification
Required
At least 2 - 3 years of Engineering experience at a manager level preferably in a luxury hotel or resort
Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
Strong time management skills: ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions. Willing to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to operate all computer equipment necessary to perform the job; knowledge of HotSOS preferred/is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests
Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 40 lbs
