Responsibilities
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance across building systems and guest-facing areas
Inspect, test, and service equipment including HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical components
Document inspections, repairs, and performance trends for engineering leadership
Identify potential issues and recommend proactive solutions
Keep equipment, tools, and work areas clean, safe, and organized
Assist with minor repairs as needed to support overall engineering operations
Qualification
Required
High School education or equivalent
Must be able to read and write in English
Must be able to perform basic math
Ability to use all general repair tools
Ability to read simple drawings and specifications
Ability to make rough estimates of required materials
Ability to recognize early warning signs of mechanical issues and take corrective action
Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills
A team-first attitude and a commitment to consistent, high-quality work
Availability to work mornings Monday through Friday, including weekends or holidays as needed
Preferred
3 to 4 years previous experience as a general repairman preferred
