Responsibilities
Deploy and support complex network solutions, including routing, switching, and network segmentation across multi-site environments
Implement and support network security solutions, including policy analysis, perimeter defense, access control, and PKI infrastructure
Plan and execute server and compute stack migrations across physical, virtual, and cloud infrastructures
Design, implement, and manage complex SAN environments, overseeing storage lifecycle and utilization
Develop, implement, and test disaster recovery solutions
Serve as a primary technical point of contact for clients, effectively communicating with key stakeholders
Develop technical roadmaps and influence strategic vision for clients within budget constraints
Mentor junior engineers to foster technical growth and team development
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including implementation guides and environmental diagrams
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 8 years' hands-on experience in IT with high proficiency in: Windows Server, Virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V), Azure Cloud stack, M365, Networking (Firewalls and Switching) and DR/BC
Bachelor's Degree in IT or equivalent certs/experience
Reside in or near Lexington, KY, Louisville, KY, or Cincinnati, OH
Willingness to travel to client locations
Ability to lift 25lbs
At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended
Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect client information
