Responsibilities

Leads the Social Media and Programmatic Media teams with a strategic vision for growth, innovation, and cross-team collaboration
Ensures digital teams are effectively leveraging Carnegie and industry best practices while fostering a culture of continual testing and learning, and evolving new approaches to meet the needs of increasingly complex and sophisticated client partnerships
Partners with the VP and specialized media team leads to recruit, hire, and retain top talent, fostering a positive, high-performing, and collaborative culture
Provides direct coaching, feedback, and career development support to team members to promote performance, accountability, and professional growth
Leads the exploration, onboarding, and integration of AI tools and automation, developing a division-wide adoption roadmap that enhances scalability, efficiency, and campaign innovation across all digital media channels
Serves as a digital subject matter expert in high-value client pitches and presentations, articulating Carnegie’s capabilities, technology stack, and strategic differentiators with confidence and clarity
Partners with Business Development and strategy leaders to shape pitch content and digital media recommendations tailored to client needs, objectives, and industry challenges
Acts as a dynamic and engaging presenter, able to adapt messaging in real time and translate complex digital concepts into compelling, results-oriented narratives
Collaborates cross-functionally to ensure digital media approaches in proposals and presentations are innovative, feasible, and reflective of Carnegie’s evolving best practices and AI-driven strategies
Supports the continued evolution of Carnegie’s pitch and proposal process by developing reusable frameworks, case studies, and assets that elevate how we tell our digital story
Leads high-level client onboarding for key digital accounts, ensuring alignment on strategic objectives, measurement frameworks, and media delivery approaches that set the foundation for long-term success
Partners cross-functionally with strategists, media, and project teams to guide a seamless transition from onboarding to campaign launch, ensuring every engagement reflects Carnegie’s standards of strategic excellence and client service
Leads the digital audit process for high-priority clients alongside digital strategist, translating findings into actionable insights that inform media strategy and strengthen client positioning from the start of the partnership
Provides strategic oversight during the transition of existing campaign infrastructure, empowering teams to identify opportunities, resolve challenges, and deliver innovative, data-driven results that exceed client expectations

Required

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple client needs and internal priorities
Deep expertise in Social Media and Programmatic Display/Streaming strategy and execution
Prior management experience with proven ability to lead, mentor, and scale teams
Strong analytical skills with experience using data visualization tools (e.g., Google Looker Studio, Google Analytics) to inform strategy
Exceptional communication skills, able to clearly convey strategy internally and handle high-level client conversations confidently
Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to engage audiences of varying technical expertise and confidently represent Carnegie in client-facing or public-speaking settings
Innovative thinker with demonstrated experience leveraging AI and automation tools within digital marketing workflows to enhance campaign performance, efficiency, and scalability
Remote work capable: strong time management, organizational skills, and ability to navigate multiple platforms efficiently
Bachelor's degree required; preferably in business, marketing, or related field
10+ years of digital marketing experience, with hands-on or management experience across Social Media and Programmatic
8+ years of prior agency experience
5+ years experience in team management and skip-level leadership
