The City of Atlanta's Department of Watershed Management is offering a summer internship for college students in the Human Resources department. The HR Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting daily HR operations and assisting with various administrative tasks, while contributing to special projects aimed at enhancing departmental effectiveness.

Responsibilities

Assist with recruitment activities, including job postings, resume review, and interview coordination

Support employee onboarding and training initiatives

Maintain and organize employee personnel files and HR records

Help prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations related to HR activities

Participate in projects aimed at improving HR processes and employee engagement

Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive employee information

Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks to support the HR team

Attend team meetings and contribute to discussions as appropriate

Must be eighteen years of age or older

Authorized to work in the United States of America

At least one semester remaining at the start of the internship

Ability to work independently and in group settings
