Responsibilities
Act as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP FI and CO modules
Provide deep functional support across:
Financial Accounting (FI): General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Banking
Controlling (CO): Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders (IO), COPA, Product Costing
Analyze complex business and financial requirements and translate them into robust SAP FICO solutions
Define, implement, and enforce process governance, financial controls, and compliance standards
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps, automation opportunities, and optimization areas
Collaborate closely with technical and development teams to design and deliver RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows)
Provide strategic and hands-on guidance during SAP S/4HANA migrations and transformations
Develop and maintain functional documentation, including process flows, SOPs, configuration documents, and training materials
Support testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and post-go-live stabilization
Engage with business stakeholders to ensure alignment between SAP solutions and business objectives
Qualification
Required
Minimum 15 Years experience required
Strong functional knowledge of finance, accounting principles, and cost management
Extensive hands-on experience with SAP FICO configuration and support
Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance, including: Universal Journal (ACDOCA), S/4HANA Finance architecture, SAP Fiori apps for Finance
Experience working in complex enterprise environments
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with business and technical stakeholders
Experience documenting business processes and delivering user training
Preferred
Prior experience supporting or leading S/4HANA migration projects
Exposure to process automation and optimization initiatives
Experience working in global or multi-entity financial environments
West Coast availability to align with client time zones
