Responsibilities
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific procedures, and documented emergency response steps for a technology-focused location
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations through the appropriate channels
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading and delivery points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and support site rules
Monitor access points and security-related systems such as alarms, CCTV, and visitor logs, and coordinate with site personnel for badge checks, contractor entry, and after-hours access
Complete detailed written reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation, and communicate status updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as required
Qualification
Required
Have at least 2 years of security experience
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred
Access control and badge experience is preferred
