Senior Property Asset Management Program Specialist

NEOGOV is looking for a Senior Property Asset Management Program Specialist to join their Environmental and Community Services Section. This role involves collaborating with the Property Asset Management team to secure and manage property assets for the Wastewater Treatment Division, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

As a PAM team member, you will work collaboratively to assess, evaluate, research, and strategize best means and methods for securing WTD property assets
As a subject matter expert in this multifaceted role, you will navigate medium to complex, higher-risk capital programs/projects, operational projects, as well as oversee existing facilities
As a representative of WTD, you will be responsible for handling highly sensitive and politically charged issues related to WTD and its work
As a PAM team member, you will support capital programs as a program coordinator/subject matter expert
As a unit team member, you will collaborate with unit staff of various disciplines to include property asset management, permitting and land acquisition

Required

Ability to identify strategies and develop plans and schedules to ensure successful and timely execution of property asset management deliverables to programs, capital projects, offsite teams, management teams, and other key participants
Excellent skills in clear and effective communication in writing and speech together with strong active listening skills demonstrating empathy, understanding, patience and composure
Experience managing consultants, programs and/or projects, project schedules, project and/or property related (or similar) types of deliverables and working on larger program and/or project teams that include both internal and external stakeholders
Exceptional dependability in accomplishing work assignments with minimal assistance required, taking the initiative to make decisions and proceed with next steps demonstrating a strong ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with staff from various backgrounds with varying skills, styles and roles
Ability to navigate challenges and conflicts with composure and confidence, demonstrating emotional intelligence, resilience and strong interpersonal skills. This includes the ability to understand different perspectives and work collaboratively to find solutions
Knowledge, understanding and practical experience with equity and social justice including providing culturally competent services to all people in an environment that values diverse perspectives and life experiences
Washington State Driver's License or the ability to provide transportation to remote work locations with limited or no public transportation service required

Preferred

Training/courses through the International Right of Way Association (or similar) are desirable although not required
Experience in Property Asset Management and/or related field is desirable although not required
Experience or training in project management is desirable although not required
