Responsibilities
Working with engineering teams for early-stage silicon bring-up and post-silicon validation efforts
Testing and characterization of hardware with system software
Verification of device performance at various operating conditions (voltage, process, temperature)
Partnering with development teams to create automated test content solutions that stress the SoC (functional, performance, stability and benchmarks) across mobile, compute, automobile, server, and modem chipsets at various operating conditions (voltage, process and thermal)
Working with team project leads to develop effective production screens for system level issues
Be proactive, able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
Enthusiastic to work at times as an individual contributor
Passionate about delivering quality work
Qualification
Required
0–3 years of experience in system or bench-level testing, preferably within mobile, automotive, IoT, or microprocessor industries
Understanding of computer architecture and operating systems (Android, Windows, Linux, or RTOS)
Experience with embedded systems and SoC-level testing concepts
Ability to develop or execute test cases for processors, graphics, memory, thermal behavior, and power performance of SoCs
Experience reading specifications, creating test plans, and using test sequencers
Familiarity with source control systems such as Perforce or Git
Programming experience in one or more of the following languages: C, C++, Python, C#, or .NET
Hands-on experience with lab measurement tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power supplies
Ability to collect, analyze, interpret, and summarize test data
Preferred
Understanding of Android system architecture and boot process
Familiarity with system-level benchmarks such as Dhrystone and DOU
Experience with debugging or triage using Android debugging tools, JTAG, Lauterbach, or Trace32
Relevant academic work, projects, or internships in silicon validation, embedded systems, or hardware bring-up
